| Hey guys! I am starting the Luffy from One Piece stitch that was designed by Littlemojo. I'm doing it for a christmas/birthday present for one of my friends. The catch is I have never done a piece that big with a short deadline. Its around 27,000 stitches. I have always wanted to do something on black aeda so I think I'm going to try it with this one. So for me this means a lot of time is going to be spent doing that stitch. For you guys sadly it means that I wont be uploading as many patterns to the site for the next 2 months. I do apologize in advance. I will try to at least get a couple a week uploaded. But the sooner I finish the sooner I can start uploading and being active again. Any motivation and help you can give for getting it finished by December I would greatly apreciate. http://1337xstitch.yolasite.com/one-piece.php | |

| Ah, that'll be really cool! I bet it'll look really spiffy when it's done with, and that the person you're making it for'll love it. I'm probably not one to talk about meeting stitching deadlines, but when I do something big like that, I really like to do the outline first, since then filling it in is like a high class coloring book. Without that technique, I never would have finished Mojo's Starzinger pattern. I wish you the very best of luck with the project, no matter how you go about doing it! ^^ | |

| Good luck! For me, black aida sure is pain in the... eyes mostly. Now I'm working on black 18 and it's oh-so-much-fun to do the the black stitches. Good thinkg they're not many. But my project are small and this is huge! But Luffy will stand out very nicely ^^ I'm sure it'll be awesome | |

| Awesome project I am sure it'll be great and as for how to get it done... do you have long train rides or stuff? I took my stitching stuff to school when I was really into a project... | |

| nope I live right by work and school. But I do have a couple days with no plans. Like today I woke up at 9 and have been stitching all day. I have finished the hat and the skin for his face. I am really dreading the hair because black thread on black aeda is giving me a headache. | |

| You can put a light behind your fabric (but make sure there's still light on it from your side!) to help you see the little holes better. ^~ | |

| Hello, I'm new to cross stitching and to this forum. I'm about to start this Luffy project... on black Aida. That's probably a bit ambitious for my first proper cross stitch project isn't it? I wanted to ask how long it took to finish this? I saw pictures of it finished and it looks amazing! | |
