My BLEACH-Hitsugaya Toushirou WIP

Well don't order and specialty threads like glow in the dark floss......LOL!!
When I did my order-- she didn't have any glow in the dark floss in (I guess because of all the halloween projects) and now its delayed until she gets more in so I must wait a few more days for my order!!!!

URG!!!!

Well my floss order is in the mail!!!!! Yipee!!
I haven't worked too much on it in the last while-- its very hard to stitch with 3 major blues missing!!
So in the weeks to come it will look very different!! NO white spots here and there!!

which do you think is harder stitching black on black or white on white?

Black!!! But I haven't tried it on my lap stand yet.
I stitched with Navy blue Adia when I was doing my .hack patterns and I never had any problems with it.
I just stitch on white alot because I do a huge bulk order when I get it--its cheaper in the long run!!

If I stitch with white it is probably somewhere inside the picture so I do other colours first and have no problem.

Most times I will start in the middle of the pattern....except this time.
When I take it into the framing store I don't want a border of Adia to be seen. Another reason is I will never find a frame the right size to fit this in because the weird dimensions. I could make my own frame-- if I had the know how!! I have all the wood working equipment and glass cutting tools. Maybe I should take a wood making course sometime in the future!!

Congrats on getting the new floss shipped, and good luck with continuing the project! It must be exciting to get back to after so long.

Yep I'm happy it will be here soon!!
I have even been stitching today for a bit....but new floss will make it exciting again!!

sometimes the only thing keeping me going is knowing that there is a color change coming up soon

Well I was unwell for a couple days and I was unable to stitch too much!! It was one of those things where you were careful not to move a muscle!! But I'm better today and was able to stitch on and off all day while I listened to repeats of movies you have seen a billion times!!
I think I will have another update soon!! Just want to get more of the chunks of colour out of the way first!!

Well It is so nice to have blue floss again!! I have been sick with a flu bug so I wasn't able to stitch as much as I wanted--

every time you post an update this thing looks more awesome
and I think it's admirable that you still have the patience and energy to work on it

I think its because years ago I decided I wasn't going to have any unfinished pieces laying around.
I have stucked to that!! Starting a new piece won't fix things-- just means I don't want to stitch for a bit. If it doesn't get done-- I can't do a new project!!! Its a good thing I don't have an extra bar set for my lap stand-- because I was tempted to do some small pieces because I was waiting for my floss.

Well its been 3 months since I started this!!
I have a bit more to go...ok well alot but its getting there!!

Lol, I laughed when I saw what you've written in DA - how you're avoiding the face But with almost no missing stitches now the rest looks awesome!

Wow you are putting some serious time into this. How many stitches can you do in an hr. I find that if I work on something consecutively the slower I get by the hr.

I have no idea how many stitches I can do in a hour-- I never kept track.
I can stitch for hours at a time (with all of tiny breaks inbetween to give my wrist a break)-- and never slow down. The only thing that slows me down are thread colour changes or if people talk to me.
I have my stand that allows me to stitch faster and I stitch in total quiet most the time. No one bothers me when I'm stitching now because I snap if they bug-unless there is blood involved then I will stop.....LOL!!.

Working on hair now and it does take more time to stitch in!!
